One + Heart: The Story of the Osage Monastery Forest of Peace

In the Osage Forest of Peace, Fr. Bede Griffiths, Tibetan monks and nuns sent by the Dalai Lama, and many luminaries of the inter-spiritual movement lived in little forest cabins and were renewed under the trees. They meditated, taught and ate together with a small community of Benedictine Sisters and Oklahoma neighbors, then helped wash the dishes.

This is the story of how Sr. Pascaline Coff, and her BSPA sisters were inspired by Fr. Bede and the Second Vatican Council to build this centering place in the blackjack forest of Osage County, to welcome the unitive consciousness emerging for humankind.

The Forest of Peace continues to welcome seekers from around the world. Come and settle for a while in the famous chapel. Meditate where mystics have knelt, in this beloved circle, sunken into the ancient forest floor.

Books ordered from the Forest receive a 25% discount over retail purchase price. 100% of the book proceeds are donated directly to the Forest.
